Meet The Doctors

Dr. Jared W. Haws

Dr. Jared Haws graduated with a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Arizona State University, then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of California San Francisco in 2003. While he has been practicing dentistry for more than 11 years, he continues to advance his education in dentistry on a monthly basis by attending continuing education courses and seminars. Dr. Haws is a member of the American Dental Association and is certified in conscious sedation to enhance his patients’ comfort. He strives to provide his patients the best possible service and care he can provide every day.

Dr. Haws has been married for 20 years and has six children. In his free time, he enjoys sports of all types and being active in the community through his children’s activities.

Dr. Jonathan D. Evans

Dr. Evans moved to Sierra Vista when he was 12 years old.  He attended Buena High School, graduating in 1999. Dr. Evans served a two year mission for his church in Seattle after high school. He then attended Eastern Arizona College where he met his wife.  They were married in 2004 and now have five children.  After EAC, he transferred to Western New Mexico University and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree.  Following graduation he and his family made the long trek to Indianapolis where Dr. Evans attended Indiana University School of Dentistry.  He graduated with his D.D.S. in 2012.

Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with his wife and kids. When he isn’t with them or at the office, you’ll find him in the garage working on cars. Classic cars have always been his passion and he started restoring them during high school.  His high school car was a 1964 Chevy II with a 327 cubic inch engine. When he and his wife first got married they had a 1957 Chevy Bel Air with a 327 and a 3 speed manual transmission. That car was later sold to buy a more family friendly, yet not as exciting, vehicle. His current project is a 1964 Chevy Corvair.

Dr. Craig D. Adams

My name is Doctor Craig Adams.  Originally from Mesa, I have lived in Arizona most of my life where I graduated from Mountain View High School and then Arizona State University.  I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 2008.  Before I moved here, I was travelling to and from Sierra Vista two days a week from Mesa.  I came to learn that I loved working at General Dental.  I enjoy the people and community that Sierra Vista has to offer, so it was an easy decision to move here with my family.

I am married to my lifelong friend, Lisa.  Together, we have 6 boys:  Danny, Noah, Josh, Bryce, Ryan, and Mason.   We enjoy the outdoor recreation and sense of community that Sierra Vista provides.  We spend much of our time biking, hiking, and taking our boys to their many sporting events.  I enjoy working in the yard, fishing, college football, and being active in church and community.

I am passionate about making sure the needs of my patients are met.  I take time to ensure that my patients understand their treatment options, and it is important to me that those whom I see are having a positive experience at the dental office.  I am able to help my patients feel relaxed and calm.  I love being able to provide dental care to children as well, and it is a joy interacting with them.  I will do all that I can to make your dental experience a positive one, and to provide you and your family with the excellent dental care you deserve.

Dr. Jay Waite

Dr. Waite was born and raised in Southern California.  He attended grade School, Junior High, and High School in Downey.  He was accepted to Brigham Young University in Provo Utah and after attending his first year was called to serve a two year mission for his Church in Northern England.  After completing his mission he returned to BYU to complete his studies.  He meet Sharon Young there and they were married.  They are the parents of five children and have 17 grandchildren. 

Upon graduating he was accepted to Northwestern Dental School and attended in Chicago for the next 4 years graduating in 1977.

He and his family moved to the White Mountains where he set up a dental practice in Show Low Arizona where he practiced for 29 years.

He and his wife eventually relocated to Tucson and then to Sierra Vista.  He loves Arizona and enjoys helping others in their dental needs.
